- Provide ongoing information to the community related to current health issues.
- Recruit, counsel, and assist Blacks and other minorities interested in a nursing career.
- Help Black and other minority nurses, including those in training, understand the issues in employment and training.
- Collaborate with appropriate groups and organizations to insure the availability of scholarships for Blacks and other minorities to pursue nursing careers.
- Network with other professional health care organizations to provide consistent and accurate information affecting the nursing profession.
